Accessory/Prusik Cord

Accessory cords are ideal for auxiliary purposes such as tag lines, stringing accessories, tie downs or lashings. They are also popular for dog leashes, camping and other general purpose applications.

These kernmantle style braided ropes are manufactured from 100% nylon for exceptional performance and durability. Developed with extensive feedback from the field, they are designed to complement our static kernmantle lifelines. The 8mm size is suitable for rescue applications, and is recommended for use with our 11mm and 13mm static kernmantle rope in prusik hitches. The smaller sizes are suitable for sport and personal use.

Note that when using a prusik cord, great care must be taken to match the cord with the host rope, and to test its effectiveness before use.
